Dear Mum – The mail has turned up trumps again; two letters from you, from early in October, arrived a couple of days ago, as well as one from Vic and another from my Saskatoon friends. One of your letters was written while I was still missing, and the other one just after, so you’ll be glad to hear they arrived. Am still fit and well; winter must agree with me. Love Chris
