Dear Mum – Have had a letter from Joan, written in October, since I last wrote, but none from you yet. Mr and Mrs Steeves have written, too, but that’s the limit of the mail till now. No doubt there is more close at hand. Have heard from Ray that he is doing all right, and I’m still doing fine, too. And that’s about all for this little effort, so love from Arnold G.
